Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Sensitivity labels protection policy support for Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and Amazon S3
Microsoft Purview Information Protection now supports label-based protection for Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3 buckets. With this, you can now apply sensitivity labels and related protections to these additional sources, providing a consistent framework for your sensitive information. This feature allows you to use your existing label scheme within these sources as well. The release is in the General Availability phase and is set to launch on November CY2024. This functionality represents another step forward in data protection in the cloud.
