Microsoft Purview Information Protection: Extend sensitivity labels to meetings (preview)

The Microsoft Purview Information Protection is now expanding its public preview to enable sensitivity labels for meetings. This update (Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 102408) is expected to roll out from early December to early January, giving admins the ability to apply labels to Microsoft Teams and Outlook appointments, meeting invites, and Teams online meetings, allowing them to be incorporated into information protection policies. However, it is important to note that Teams Premium licensing is required to apply sensitivity labels to protect Teams online meetings. No action is required to enable this preview, just configure sensitivity labels in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal to utilize this feature.
