Microsoft Purview Information Protection: Configure sensitivity label inheritance from email attachments
A new update is coming to Microsoft Purview compliance portal in which admins can configure sensitivity label policies for email attachments. This will enable admins to use inheritance to apply sensitivity labels from attachments to email messages. The update is expected to roll out to public preview beginning late February and ending by mid-March, while the rollout to general availability is expected to begin in late March and end by the end of April.
