Microsoft Teams Shared Device License on Mobile App for Android

Microsoft Teams has announced the availability of support for Teams Shared Device License on Android Mobile, specifically on the Teams mobile version. This feature enables users to set up Android phones as shared devices, with access to basic and advanced calling, people search, voicemail, and walkie talkie. However, only Calling and Walkie Talkie apps are supported, with other apps accessible only through eligible licenses assigned to the account. The rollout for this feature is expected to be complete by early September 2023. No further action is required from users at the moment, but it is recommended to keep the Teams Android mobile application updated with the latest version. For more information, you can visit the documentation provided on their website.
