Microsoft Teams has announced a new feature that prompts Walkie Talkie first-time users to connect to a single channel, enabling teams to communicate instantly and securely. Walkie Talkie is a push-to-talk experience that offers clear voice communication over the cloud. The new feature simplifies the process for new users, making it easier to determine which channel they should connect to in order to start collaborating with colleagues. The feature is set to be released in August 2023 for Android platforms on the worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) cloud instance and GCC.
