Microsoft has introduced a new feature called shared device mode for Android devices, aimed at addressing the security concerns of frontline workers who often use shared mobile devices to do their work. Shared device mode allows multiple employees to use the same device without sharing passwords or pin numbers to access customer data. The mode allows easy sign-in and sign-out functionality, providing swift and secure access to the device's data system. Additionally, the Microsoft identity-backed management of the device ensures enhanced security and privacy for customer information. The platform is set to launch in July CY2023 with a preview set to launch in January CY2023.
