Android users of Microsoft Teams are in for a treat with the updated companion mode which promises to take their hybrid meeting experience to the next level. With a single tap, users can now join a meeting on both their Android device and Microsoft Teams Room for a seamless experience. The optimized landing experience on Android allows for easy engagement activities such as raising hands, reacting, chatting, and seeing all participants.
Additionally, users will no longer have to worry about audio echo as their device audio will be automatically turned off while joining the meeting. This feature is set to be released in August CY2022 and will be available on both GCC and Worldwide Standard Multi-Tenant platforms. So if you're an Android user, get ready to enjoy a more engaging and seamless meeting experience with Microsoft Teams.
