Updated companion mode for Android meetings
Android users now have access to an updated Companion Mode that allows them to join Microsoft Teams meetings from their devices. With this feature, users can easily chat, react, and share during a meeting from their Android devices. This update is associated with the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 109606 and will roll out in early June 2023.
Organizations do not need to make any preparations for this update, though they are encouraged to test the feature once it has been released. It is expected to be fully rolled out by mid-June 2023. With this update, Android users will have a more seamless experience with Microsoft Teams meetings.
