Microsoft Teams: Simplifying Meeting Join Experiences on Mobile
Microsoft Teams has announced improvements in its meeting join experience on mobile, with the ultimate goal of making the process faster and smoother for users. One of the key changes is the streamlining of the meeting join process, significantly reducing the number of steps it takes to join the meeting, particularly for external users. Another improvement is that users who join without signing in will now have the capability to preset and preview video/audio settings prior to joining the meeting. Besides these, users with multiple accounts will have an easier time joining meetings as the join process will be simplified.
These changes aim to make Microsoft Teams meetings more accessible and user-friendly on mobile devices and will be released in general availability in October CY2023. The update will be available for the Android platform, and across Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC, GCC High, and DoD cloud instances.
