Microsoft Teams: Updated companion mode for Android users for GCC and DoD
Microsoft Teams has introduced an updated companion mode for Android users on their phones to facilitate a better hybrid meeting experience. With just a single tap, users can now join a meeting on both their device and Microsoft Teams Room, with the audio on their device being automatically turned off to prevent any echo. Additionally, the experience on Android has been optimized to make it easier for users to engage in activities such as raising their hand, reacting, chatting, and viewing all participants. This update is set to be released in August CY2022 and will be available on mobile platforms for DoD and GCC.
