Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Actionable Email Notifications for Enhanced Incident Remediation
Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention end-users can now benefit from advanced incident remediation capabilities via actionable email notifications. This feature allows users to take remedial actions for files on Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint that have caused a policy match directly from their mailbox. Some of the available actions in the email notifications include stopping file sharing, file deletion, labeling, policy override, reporting a false positive, and requesting action. This feature is currently in Preview Release phase and will be available in January CY2025 (with Preview date: November CY2024). It will only be accessible via Web Cloud Instance on the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) platform. For those concerned with data compliance, this new feature makes remediation processes more efficient.
