Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Customization and preview of email notifications

Microsoft Purview compliance portal is introducing advanced customization options for end-users of Data Loss Prevention email notifications. These customization options include:

  • Extensive Token Support - which provides detailed information to the end-users using the expanded token library
  • DLP Exchange Rule Matched Email Attachment Control – allows users to choose whether to include or exclude matched emails as attachments in notifications.
  • Tailored Email Content - customization of sender display name and email body using HTML, markdown, or plain text.
  • Ability to preview email notifications to ensure they meet customized requirements.

This Microsoft Purview compliance portal upgrade is set for general availability release on March CY2024, and the platform is available for Web Cloud Instance GCC High, DoD, GCC. Additionally, the roadmap ID for this release is 381748 and the release was created on 2024-02-14.
