This post informs readers about the upcoming changes in the Get-CsOnlineUser cmdlet and Teams Admin Center's Manage Users Page of the Microsoft Teams PowerShell module to include all unlicensed users. After the changes roll out in late April 2024, the Teams admin center's Manage Users Page and Get-CsOnlineUser cmdlet will display users who do not have a valid Teams license. No admin action is required, but users may want to update their documentation accordingly. These changes will be included in the Teams PowerShell Module versions 6.1.1 preview, and the rollout will begin in late April 2024 and is expected to complete by mid-May 2024. These updates are aimed to include unlicensed users who never had a valid Teams license. This news is a heads-up for organizations so that this change does not affect their work abruptly without knowing about it.
