Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows: A Teams Room can be a Breakout Room participant

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows will soon allow participation in Breakout Rooms, with meeting organizers being able to manage them like individual participants. Beginning in late August 2024, Teams Rooms on Windows will be able to participate in Breakout Rooms if used by a meeting organizer. The room can then be assigned to a particular Breakout Room and will respect related settings or actions designated by the organizer, such as being moved into and out of Breakout Rooms. While this feature will be accessible to all Teams Rooms for Windows users by default, a Teams Room cannot take on the organizer role for Breakout Rooms. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 95680. The post Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows: A Teams Room can be a Breakout Room participant originally appeared on M365 Admin.
