Microsoft Teams Support for Co-organizer to Manage Breakout Rooms
Microsoft Teams is releasing an update to its Breakout Rooms feature that allows co-organizers to create, manage and configure Breakout Rooms just like meeting organizers. Co-organizers will be able to assign participants, add or remove rooms, send announcements and rename or delete rooms during a live meeting. However, they won't be able to pre-create rooms or pre-assign participants before the start of the meeting. This update will roll out in stages, with a preview beginning in early December and completing by mid-December. The standard release is expected to begin in mid-January and complete by end-January. This change will allow co-organizers to more easily collaborate and manage meetings within Teams.
