Microsoft Teams: Pre-meeting Breakout Room creation and participant assignment for Teams on VDI
The newest release from Microsoft Teams allows for organizers of meetings on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to configure breakout rooms and participant assignments before the meeting begins. This feature was made generally available in early 2023 on the Desktop Cloud instance for GCC, GCC High, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), and DoD. This announcement was made on the M365 Admin blog and includes a roadmap link with the ID 99864. This is great news for teams using VDI to conduct meetings, as it provides a more efficient and organized way to structure breakout rooms and assignments.
