Retiring 3 entry points to access contents from the SharePoint mobile app

Starting December 7, 2022, three entry points to access content from the SharePoint mobile app will be retired. Instead, users are advised to use the search bar, save for later, and other avenues within the app to access any content. These entry points were simply shortcuts, and the content can still be accessed via SharePoint, just not through these retired entry points.

This change will affect the following entry points:

1. The tab showing popular files from the Level 2 screen for “Find/Files”
2. “Recent Files” section from app-only quick navigation links shown for team sites
3. User’s recent activity across SharePoint news and pages in the “Recent tab”

To prepare for this change, users are encouraged to utilize the save for later option to easily access content from the saved tab within the SharePoint mobile app. Keep in mind that this feature is being retired to align with SharePoint Online (SPO) and OneDrive (OD).
