Users and administrators need to take note of the impending retirement of the PDF Tools app from Teams, Office and Outlook stores by mid-July 2023. After this date, the app will no longer be available for use. However, there are alternative apps and features that you can use to convert files to PDF such as Microsoft Print to PDF, Adobe PDF, Convert to PDF, and Document to PDF. These tools are available on web, desktop, and mobile endpoints for free. To prepare for this change, consider updating your training and documentation materials. The retirement of PDF Tools app will not affect the performance of the other apps in the Microsoft 365 suite.
