Microsoft Purview | Communication Compliance: Contextual Summaries with Copilot for Security

Microsoft Purview's Communication Compliance is introducing a new contextual summaries feature in Copilot for Security to help investigators identify potentially risky content and understand the meaning of the content with just one click. The public preview for the feature will start in early April 2024, and general availability worldwide will begin in early June 2024. To use this feature, users must have a Copilot for Security license and proper permissions. By utilizing Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance, businesses can detect violations of business conduct and regulatory compliance. The new feature will enable generating contextual summaries of policy matches in the context of the conditions that flag the message. With this, investigators can identify and understand potentially risky content much faster and ask additional open prompt questions for deeper insights into the message content. Moreover, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built-in, investigators are opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to ensure user-level privacy.
