Microsoft Teams: Rename general channel
Microsoft Teams users can now rename the general channel in their team, thanks to a recent update. This will help bridge the gap between the general channel and other channels by organizing them in alphabetical order within the Teams and Channels list. Team owners or members with permissions can take advantage of this feature, which was made generally available worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), in GCC High, DoD, and GCC instances in June 2024. This update is expected to enhance the overall user experience in Microsoft Teams, providing additional flexibility and control to users.
