Microsoft Teams: 1000 Channels per Team
Microsoft Teams is increasing its channel limits to allow for 1000 channels per team. Users will enjoy greater flexibility when creating a new channel as they will be able to create any combination of standard and shared channels, plus up to 30 private channels per team. This new feature will enable more collaboration and organization within your team, allowing you to work more efficiently.
The rollout will start in late July and will be completed by late September for all organizations. There is no preparation needed from users. This update will be associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 127496.
With this update, Microsoft Teams is making it easier for teams to collaborate and organize their communications and projects effectively.
