New Service Endpoint for Applications using Microsoft Purview Information Protection

A new service endpoint for applications using Microsoft Purview Information Protection labeling in applications and services is being added. Applications that fall under this include Microsoft 365 Apps, the Azure Information Protection client, and any application using the Microsoft Information Protection SDK. It is important to note that if an organization does not use Microsoft Purview Information Protection labeling policies, they can disregard this message. The change will begin in mid-July, and network configurations will need to be updated to include the host https://substrate.office.com for apps and services to continue to fetch the labeling policy. If an organization uses Microsoft Purview Information Protection labeling policies, it is recommended that they review their current configuration and make necessary changes to prepare. This announcement was made on M365 Admin.
