Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Automatically turn on auto-labeling policy

Microsoft Purview compliance portal has introduced a new feature which allows admins to automatically turn on auto-labeling policies. This option can be configured if there are no changes made to the policy within a set number of days post-simulation completion. This new feature can be accessed via cmdlet or by navigating to the auto-labeling policy setup in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. This is a welcome development for admins as it reduces the time and effort required to maintain auto-labeling policies.

The feature is set to be released in September 2023, and will be generally available on both the web and cloud platforms. This development is part of Microsoft's constant effort to improve its services and make it easier for customers to manage their data protection policies.
