Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Sensitivity labels to protect Microsoft Teams shared channels
Microsoft Purview compliance portal is set to get an upgrade, with the addition of Sensitivity labels to protect Microsoft Teams shared channels. This update comes as part of the General Availability Release phase, is set to be released in November 2023, and will be available on the Web Cloud Instance GCC, as well as Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
With this new addition, Sensitivity labels will help in controlling sharing and discovery of Microsoft Teams shared channels, thus providing better information protection security. This new feature is expected to be a significant enhancement to the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
