Microsoft Teams: Room Remote on Desktop
Microsoft Teams is set to launch a new feature called Room Remote that allows users to control a nearby shared meeting room device from their Windows desktop or PC companion device via the Teams client. This feature was initially launched on mobile devices and is now being extended to Windows PC form factors. This feature is set to be generally available in November CY2022 and will be available on Desktop Cloud Instance GCC and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant). The feature is expected to enhance accessibility and remote control of shared meeting room devices. For more information and updates, check out the Microsoft Teams roadmap.
