Microsoft Teams: Enabling People Recognition in a Teams Meeting with a desktop client face enrollment process
In the latest release of the Microsoft Teams desktop client, users now have the ability to enroll their faces and create a face profile. This is intended for Teams Room meetings wherein an Intelligent Camera capable of People Recognition is used. With this feature, in-room attendees will be recognized and labeled for all meeting participants, both in-room and remote. This results in a more seamless and efficient meeting experience for all.
This valuable feature is set for General Availability Release on the Microsoft Teams platform in November 2023. Once available, users worldwide will have access to this feature on the Desktop Cloud Instance. To learn more about this upcoming feature, visit the Microsoft Teams Roadmap ID 161426.
