Power Platform admin center – Information about the Public Preview of Convert Owner team to Access team

The Power Platform admin center is introducing a Public Preview of converting owner teams to access teams and reassigning team records starting June 7, 2024. Previously, these functions were only available in the Dataverse legacy Web client, but now they can be performed in the Environment/Settings/Users+Permissions/Teams page. The conversion process involves reassigning all records owned by the owner team to another user or team before converting the owner team to an access team. Once the owner team is converted to an access team, it cannot own any records and the conversion cannot be undone. No action is required at this time, but administrators can learn more about managing Dataverse teams through the provided link.
