The Power Platform is introducing a new feature that enables DataVerse administrators and makers to protect against unauthorized data exfiltration by controlling which apps can access a given environment. This feature, available for public preview on December 13, 2024, empowers administrators to create a list of approved applications that can access data environments and enforce stricter access regulations via enforcement mode. Additionally, audit mode allows for regular reviews of approved and denied app access to environments. If you use the Power Platform, this feature will be a vital tool for safeguarding against malicious app access and ensuring the integrity of your data. No action is currently required, but for more information on this new feature, check out the Control which apps are allowed in your environment (preview) documentation.
