Power Platform – Prevent data exfiltration by securing app access feature – public preview

Power Platform is introducing a new feature to help prevent data exfiltration by securing app access. Admins and makers can now control which apps can be run in your Dataverse environment, protecting against malicious users who might try to create or use unapproved apps to export sensitive data from the environment. The feature is available for public preview starting from October 7th, 2024. With this feature, admins and makers can create a list of approved applications that can access an environment, as well as utilize enforcement mode to ensure only approved applications can access the environment. Audit mode can also be used for reviewing the current applications with approved or denied access to the environment. No action is required regarding this message as it is for awareness purposes only. For more information about this feature and its documentation, refer to the provided link.
