Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Simulation mode for DLP
Microsoft Purview has introduced a new capability for data loss prevention (DLP): Simulation mode. This feature enables administrators to test a DLP policy, assess its impact, and fine-tune it in an isolated environment before enforcing it. This helps build confidence in policy configuration and reduces policy enforcement time. The Simulation mode for DLP will be available in General Availability Release by January CY2024 and in preview by November CY2023. This feature is currently available on the web cloud instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
