The Public Preview of the Modern Security Role setting URL redirection and the Modern Security Role setting interface are available to users that have access to the security role setting in the Dynamics 365 portal.

The public preview of the modern security role settings URL redirection and interface is now available for users who can access the security role setting provided by Dynamics 365 portal. Security roles play a crucial role in determining how different users can access restricted or sensitive data and resources and their level of authorization when interacting with them. To modify or create new security roles that can control user access, you need to have privileged access to the security role settings. A user may be assigned multiple security roles whose cumulative privileges determine their access level. To prepare for the changes, users need to refer to relevant documentation such as the Security roles and privileges. Additionally, during the Public Preview, the link to the legacy UI page will still be available in the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC). A feedback link will be available at the bottom of the page.
