Microsoft Outlook is now equipped with a new feature that allows users to receive pop-up messages that either warn, justify, or block emails that are being sent with sensitivity labels. This feature is specifically designed to prevent oversharing, and users will get the chance to explain why they are sending the email, or they may be required to block it completely based on predefined DLP rules set up by admins using the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. This feature is only supported by Outlook desktop as the first stage, but it is expected to be rolled out to other platforms soon. This new feature can be beneficial for individuals who deal with sensitive information on a regular basis, and it helps to ensure that the necessary security requirements are met.
