Outlook: Labeling email from attachments’ label in Outlook on the web
Outlook on the web has introduced a new feature that allows for automatic labeling of emails based on the highest sensitivity label from attachments. This can be configured by the admin through either the set-labelpolicy advanced setting cmdlet or the Compliance portal, with the feature set to become generally available in May 2023. The platform for this feature is Web Cloud Instance, and it will be available worldwide in a standard multi-tenant configuration. This feature ensures that the email receives the highest label from the attachments, and customers will receive recommendations or see it automatically.
