Outlook for Windows is set to introduce a new feature which offers native sensitivity labeling. This will enable users to receive an oversharing pop-up dialogue, which can be implemented through the Microsoft Purview compliance portal, allowing confidentiality of sent emails to be monitored. If the configuration rule is triggered when a user clicks send, a warn/justify/block message will appear to ensure that the customer complies with an admin's security requirements. This additional security measure is set to be released in the Current Channel towards the end of August 2023 for Desktop and Cloud Instance platforms, including DoD, GCC High, and GCC.
