Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention- Enriched Data Loss Prevention Alert Email Notifications for DLP Admins
The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy match notifications for DLP admins have been enhanced with enriched context information. In addition to the user activity and type of sensitive data matched, the DLP alert email will now include additional details such as alert ID, policy details, and device information. This feature will help DLP admins quickly prioritize the alerts and take necessary actions before navigating to the Microsoft Purview or Microsoft 365 Defender DLP alerts page. The release phase for this feature is Preview Release and is scheduled for January 2024 with the preview date in December 2023. The Microsoft Purview compliance portal improves DLP functionality with better alerts and more context for DLP admins.
