Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – File Name and File Path filters for DLP alerts in Microsoft 365 Defender portal

Microsoft has announced the addition of new filtering capabilities to the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts queues in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal. Users can now filter DLP alerts queues by File Name or File Path. This feature is set to be released in November CY2023, with a preview date set for October CY2023. The new capabilities are designed to enhance the filtering experience and provide users with better visibility into the DLP alerts queues. The release will be available on the Web Cloud Instance Platform, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant). For more information, refer to the roadmap ID 180989 on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.

To take advantage of this new feature, administrators can utilize the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. This new feature is expected to improve the sorting and manageability of DLP alerts queues, enabling users to respond more effectively to data loss prevention threats and vulnerabilities.
