Microsoft Teams: Automatically set building location in Teams
If you're a Microsoft Teams user, you can now set your building location automatically in the app. This feature allows you to coordinate better with your colleagues and also take advantage of the AI-assisted booking in the future. If enabled, your work location can be updated automatically to a specific building when you connect to a peripheral at a bookable desk or BYOD room. This feature will be available on desktop and cloud instances of Microsoft Teams and is currently in the Targeted Release phase, set to be released in January CY2025. So, make your presence known and take advantage of this new feature.
