Outlook: New work location sharing options
Outlook has added new options for work location sharing, including the ability to not share any location information with other users in the organization. The three location sharing options now include "No location shared," "Only general location shared (Office or Remote)," and "Detailed location shared (Building or desk location information)." This update ensures that a user's chosen location sharing option is respected across Outlook, Places, and Teams experiences when displaying their location information. These changes are part of the #newoutlookforwindows product and were released for general availability on October CY2024 for the web cloud instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) and GCC platforms.
