Microsoft Teams: Add location to your presence signal
Microsoft Teams is rolling out the feature to add a location to one's presence signal, allowing colleagues to know where they are working from. This feature will be available on profile cards, group chats, and one-on-one chats. This feature is scheduled to roll out in early to mid-November 2024. To prepare for this new feature, users are recommended to review the deployment guide for Microsoft Places. IT administrators can utilize this Microsoft Places related feature in Teams for fostering flexible work dynamics, leading to enhanced productivity and collaboration within an organization.
