Microsoft Teams: Automatically set work location on bookable desks
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature which allows the automatic setting of work location to 'In the office' upon connecting to peripherals at a bookable desk. This feature can be enabled by IT for a tenant or a group, following which users can opt-in to have their location automatically updated. This enhancement eases the process of connecting with co-workers in the office. The feature is generally available on the Mac Cloud platform, with a release date scheduled for August CY2024. The roadmap ID for this feature is 401118.
