Microsoft Teams: Speaker recognition and attribution available in additional meeting spaces
Microsoft Teams has introduced an exciting new feature that enables the attribution and recognition of speakers and transcripts in a range of meeting spaces. The technology utilizes unique voice profiles for each participant, enabling the team to identify and attribute people in live transcripts. By doing so, Microsoft Teams allows for intelligent recaps and maximum value from Microsoft 365 Copilot in Teams meetings, elevating the experience for all users.
These capabilities are available across a range of meeting spaces, including Teams Rooms and bring your own device (BYOD) rooms that rely on a user's PC. To enroll voices, users can easily and securely access Microsoft Teams settings. While a Teams Premium license is required on the host desktop in a BYOD room, this new functionality promises to transform the way we engage with one another in virtual meeting spaces.
