Outlook: Support of sensitivity labels scoping to emails
Microsoft's Purview Information Protection now offers the ability to configure sensitivity labels to either be scoped for files or emails. With the new update, Outlook on the web will only display email-scoped labels and hide non-email-scoped labels. This feature is available on the web cloud platform for all tenants from March CY2023. The preview for this feature will be available in February CY2023.
This update ensures better management and control of sensitive information across communication channels, making Outlook more intuitive and easier to use for users.
