The Extremely Useful Meeting Follow Response

The Extremely Useful Meeting Follow Response

Have you ever had to decline a meeting invitation, but wished you could still stay in the loop and be able to access relevant information? Well, now you can, thanks to the new Follow response option in Microsoft Teams meetings.

The Follow response allows invitees to express interest in the meeting and its agenda, without accepting the invitation and blocking off calendar time. This feature is especially useful for those with busy schedules, who may have to decline meetings due to conflicts but still want to stay informed about the outcome.

With the Follow response, invitees can access the meeting artifacts such as chat and recaps, even if they were unable to attend. This is particularly beneficial for people who might have missed important information or updates discussed during the meeting.

Overall, the Follow response is a simple yet valuable addition to Microsoft Teams meetings, providing flexibility and ensuring that everyone can stay informed and connected even if they can't be physically present.
