Meeting Recap on Outlook on the web

Outlook on the web has introduced a new feature called Meeting Recap, which facilitates quick access to meeting content for participants. After the conclusion of a meeting, participants can access its artifacts such as recordings through the calendar event, providing greater convenience. However, this feature currently only supports meetings scheduled using Microsoft Teams and does not include recordings started through auto-record in Teams or meetings scheduled on group calendars or as ad-hoc meetings.

The rollout, slated between late January to late May, targets the web version of Outlook and grants users access to various meeting content if available, such as links to recordings. Note that while the feature provides links to the content, it does not store the actual content, so permission to view the content remains unchanged and is controlled by the file owner.

As a user, there is no preparation needed at this time, but updating training documents as appropriate could be helpful. For additional information, refer to the Outlook announcement.
