Microsoft Stream: Collaborative notes in Teams meeting recordings

This post discusses a new feature in Microsoft Stream that allows users to collaborate on meeting notes while watching Teams meeting recordings. With collaborative notes, users can co-create and collaborate on meeting agendas, notes, and action items in real-time. Since it is a Loop component, the notes are always in sync regardless of where they live. Collaborative notes assigned tasks automatically sync with To Do and Planner, making it easier for users to keep track of their action items.

This feature is expected to roll out in mid-November 2023 for targeted release and in late January 2024 for standard release. Once rolled out, users will be able to view and edit collaborative meeting notes while watching Teams meeting recordings in Stream. Some users may see this feature before others in their organization.

If your organization uses Microsoft Stream and Teams for meetings, you don't need to take any action at this time. Simply wait for the release and start collaborating on your meeting notes in real-time while watching the meeting recording.
