Outlook: MIP Label Support for Events on iOS

Outlook for iOS now supports MIP sensitivity labels for events, allowing tenants to both read and write labels for their meetings with enforcement of rules, such as encryption, as defined by tenant admins. This feature also includes support for other admin-defined event label settings, including auto-label policies, do not forward, and cross-tenant events. The rollout for this feature is set to begin in late October with completion expected by early November for preview and mid/late November to mid-December for standard release. This functionality will provide parity to the features that already exist in other Outlook apps for Windows, Mac, and Web, and will help users protect the details and attachments of events while using Outlook Mobile. There is no specific action required for this feature to be accessible once it is live for organizations that already use event sensitivity labels. To learn more about sensitivity labels, how to create, use, and manage them, users can follow this link to the sensitivity label documentation.
