Outlook: Mandatory Labeling Before Composing Emails for Mobile Users
In an effort to make Outlook more mobile-friendly and to address customer feedback, Microsoft is introducing a new feature that requires users to select a label before composing an email in Outlook mobile. The feature also includes a new sensitivity bar and support for label colors, and will be enabled through a new MDM setting that admins can configure for specific users. Android users can expect to see the new feature in mid-April, with rollout expected to be complete by early May. iOS users can expect rollout to be complete by mid-May. This update will give organizations greater control over how their employees use Outlook on mobile devices.
