Outlook: Mandatory labeling pre-compose for iOS
Outlook for iOS is introducing a new mandatory labeling pre-compose feature that allows admins to activate mandatory configuration for Outlook mobile clients (iOS and Android). This feature enables users to select a label before composing an email to prevent them from forgetting to add labels. The sensitivity bar below the subject line and label color support will also be provided. The feature will be available for Android in early Q1 of 2023, and for iOS in Q2 of 2023. To take advantage of this feature, admins should enable mandatory labels for specific users and set the Intune MDM setting "com.microsoft.outlook.Mail.LouderMandatoryLabelEnabled" to "true". If Label policy is set to HideBarByDefault, the label selection will appear below the subject line. If default labeling is not required, no configuration settings are required. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 109544.
