Microsoft Purview | Insider Risk Management: Adaptive Protection + Conditional Access will be GA
Microsoft Purview's Insider Risk Management will soon be equipped with a new feature - the Adaptive Protection, integrated with Microsoft Entra ID's Conditional Access. The integration of these systems will enable organizations to create policies that help enforce access actions to users with insider risk levels for Adaptive Protection, hence preventing malicious activities. This integration's rollout will also change the default Insider Risk Conditional Access policy. Organizations striving to use these new features will need an Entra ID P2 license in line with the new roadmap ID 388737. The rollout will begin in July 2024 and end by early August 2024. Before this implementation, adaptive protection in Purview DLP was not generally available. You can learn more about the required steps in the link provided in this post.
