Adaptive Protection in Microsoft Purview: Public preview of multi-policy selection

Adaptive Protection in Microsoft Purview is set to roll out a public preview of support for multi-policy selection that allows admins to select multiple Insider Risk Management policies in the "Risk levels for Adaptive Protection" settings to assign risk levels in Adaptive Protection. This feature will begin rolling out at the end of November and is expected to be complete by mid-December. Users can visit Insider Risk Management and navigate to Adaptive Protection (preview) to configure risk levels for Adaptive Protection. This enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements, helping to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. This feature also utilizes privacy-by-design principles and pseudonymizes users by default, with role-based access controls and audit logs to maintain user-level privacy.
